Default Change capital difficulty dependent costs not working in 6.3

The message in the city screen about a cost of 2000 on medium and 5000 on VH shows up, but the money is not deducted from the purse.

I am playing on VH/VH, no assimilation, Gracul AI, RR/RC.

Oh yes, I am also using Faster Turn times 2.0. Could this be the problem?

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

Roland searched the continent for the man who'd done him in
He found him in Mombasa in a barroom drinking gin
Roland aimed his Thompson gun - he didn't say a word
But he blew Van Owen's body from there to Johannesburg

FTT 2.0 breaks the campaign script. Capital change costs are controlled by the campaign script. Therefore, FTT 2.0 breaks capital change costs.
Upgrade to 3.1 (included in my Compilation) or to the X-edition.

Could the broken campaign script have anything to do with the size of the AI armies?

I am playing with Gracul's AI. The AI rarely seems to field full armies, usually only half full, or less.

I'm thinking about going back to Point Blank's latest RR/RC with Byg's AI because the AI armies seemed to be stronger.

Are the weak AI armies in my game due to the broken campaign script, or is this a problem with the Gracul AI or 6.3 in general?

    Probably.
The campaign script gives the AI loads of extra money to make up for its stupidity, so no campaign script = less AI money = less AI armies.

Thought so! That explains my domination then! Time for a new campaign!
