I don't think I've played a campaign where Selukids managed to survive past 200BC.

I was referring to 200 AD. I am past 200 BC right now in my Romani, and was going close to that in my Ptolemeiac campaign too.
Hehe... my mind automatically corrected the typo.
The Seleucids are the greatest paper tiger you'll even know.
Have you played an eastern campaign (e.g. Parthia, Saka-Rauka, Baktria) or western ones?
When playing e.g. Baktria the Seleucids became the largest and richest empire by defeating the Ptolies. But when playing a western faction like Rome or Lusotanni they hardly survive their more powerful neighbours ...
It seems the most successful factions are the large ones near the player (as long as they have room to expand away from the player).![]()
200 AD? Sassanian empires on the rise anyone?
Annokerate Koriospera Yuinete Kuliansa
I used to switch my faction in-game to the Seleukids to keep them alive and use the "disable_ai" command. Unfortunately I forgot how to do this...
I thought that corrupted the game AI? Also, in my campaign as the Romani, the Seleucids did rather well, they exterminated the Pahlava, and only refrained from doing in the Saka and Baktrians because I intervened.
Also, on a differente note, your legion is crap. I gave them a whole wing to command and they just buckled under pressure. Im not at all impressed.![]()
In actual history they were better...
Haha I know... Caesars favourite and all... still, I expect better next time!
Anyways for the guy who wants to help seleucids... put this in genericScript. When in game press f1 and click on the question mark in right hand corner. It brings up the advisor, and press show me how
Code:script console_command toggle_perfect_spy console_command control romans_julii console_command disable_ai end_script
