Yellow early roman legionaries ?

Hello ! I was just wondering; after getting the early legionaries in a few cities, why are their shields yellow ? As a incentive to tech up to something better ? They looked fine in their unit cards, but in battle i discovered that i was commanding the mighty mustard mob of rome, and was saddened.

Personally, i edited the texture so that they have red shields, and it feels much better to me. I guess i can see that you were trying to make a distinguishable difference between the polybians and the early legions, but this seemed a little much.

Just my 2 cents, though.

I thought we'd decided that the early legionnaires were going to have those red shields with eagle wings on like the ones in the Osprey book? We REALLY could do with changing those yellow shields... at least make them more yellow and less green - more of a golden yellow colour, like the auxiliary shields.
Oh, and Massive attack, pardon my asking - but isn't your piccie the Commissar from the game Final Liberation? The one based on Epic 40,000?

Errr, what do you mean by yellow? Sounds like you've not updated properly.
Delete the export_descr_units.txt and descr_model_battle.txt from the Play_Rome/data directory then reupdate. You'll find that they're correct now, assuming you've not trashed things whilst editing.

I don't know if you ever played Dark Omen (based on Warhammer Fantasy, not Warhammer 40,000) but I'm fairly certain that the actor for Holt voiced the Witch Hunter, Mathias, in that game.
And sorry for not remembering his name - I've always been a Space Marine player, so I need not pay any heed to Commissars.
