Default should i destroy governments with similar cultures?

I'm playing as the Greek right now, and i conquered some of makedonia's settlements. but i can still build greek buildings with their type 1 government. since it'd be a waste of money and time to destroy their government and then build one of mine if it's not needed, I'm wondering whether i should just keep it. Will i have the same building options down the line as one of my own greek type 1 governments, perhaps because the culture is similar or something?

It's a loophole, you can use other faction's governments as your own if they're the same tier. At least IIRC that's how it works.

Yes, but that's not the case with Makedonia and KH. It is the case with KH and Baktria IIRC.

I took a settlement in Gaul as Rome and it has a type 1 Barbarian government. I plan on destroying it in a few turns once the militia barracks finished.

I don't think it will be a problem EB2 a I'm sure you get set them to be destroyed upon the settlement being captured

i guess that's because it's possible to use religion to represent cultures which will opens up many new possibilities.
