I don't think this mod is compatible with Alexander. But you would need Quinn or Carados or CA to confirm that.

When do you get the errors?
    What do the errors say?
Developer for the Extended Realism mod for RTR Platinum.
Developer for RTRVII and protégé of Caligula Caesar

The ExRM forum: come for the mod, stay for the Classical History discussions. Or vice versa.

Well, strictly speaking ExRM isn't really compatible with Alex. I don't think it was designed with Alex in mind as BI is more popular.

1 possible solution might be to uninstall Alex.

Something else you might try, and I can't guarantee will work would be to install RTW and BI in a separate place, and then install ExRM to that folder. For example, have a copy of RTW + BI + Alex in

    C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome Total War

and have RTW + BI installed in

    C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome Total War

    Then install ExRM to that.

Though I am speaking off the top of my head and don't own the Alexander expansion pack, therefore cannot definitively say this would work. Also it's a rather hard drive intensive method.

You could also check this thread for some instructions on how to run ExRM on Alex, and this one if you are getting stringtable errors.

Let me know how you get on

Edit: Also, yay for being mentioned as someone that might be useful

Also, the ExRm shortcut is designed to start with "Rome-BI.exe", but you'll have to change that to "Rome-Alex.exe" or whatever is correct. (It seems, you've done this, sorry )

If the imperial campaign won't work, then it's probably because the Alexander campaign map lacks what ExRm needs, since ExRm runs on a heavily modified verison of BI. So basically, you'll need an install of BI to make this work.
