money run out suddenly

hi all,

I'm playng as hellenic ext...i reached more than 95000 money...i accepted a protectorate agreement from makedonia...the turn after my money went just to 1265!!!!?????? ( the related turn summary of expenses was right as it was 95000...sooo i'm confused)

Maybe the reason is that when u become a somebody's else protectorate they get in posses of all ur treausury????

Please somebody help me to understand this weird thing.

what about in a case like in which i would accept the agreement at first, than i would get in posses of my eventual one single payment condition, and in the next second i would delete alliance, military acces ext....do i still loose all my treasury??

That' why you immediately break the alliance after accepting protectorate status, preferrably for a hefty sum, too. If they demand you become their protectorate, you say "OK, gimme 10 grand and map information". They'll accept (though sometimes negotiate about the money). Next thing you do is resume the talk, ending the alliance. This leaves you with more money and a ceasefire.
