Thanks, good to be backI figure I'll just continue where I left off and get a release out with what I have up to now plus any more stuff that can be easily included. It has a ton of submods already integrated (eg here is the list of submods in my latest game:

, honestly its 90-95% done, but its that last 10% that takes all the time.
For TATW, the main thing is to add RC 2.0 to it, and Moneybags14 has almost completed an autogen spreadsheet for the units so that could be a big timesaver - it should be able to be modified for medieval also. Otherwise I just need to update the EDB for 2.1. Actually I don't think it will take too long.
I'd say my focus will still be on SS, 70/30, then after release 30/70 in favour of TATW perhaps.
It didn't help that my 10 month old daughter spilled a glass of water into my laptop, frying it. My current machine can barely run M2TW, but I have a new machine being delivered in a week

Did you mix PB and RW up? I think PB mentioned importing some units but nothing about a new map or new building system or new factions. Only if some other mod does those things then maybe RC will include them.
I remember it from the "update" thread... I may be mistaken though...

RW's buildings are also brilliant, but the military ones need changes.

BC units are in via Broken Sword already. I'd like to put in new RW map and some buildings. Magyar mod too. I think the best thing I can do is get something released asap and then add above content after.
Also remember there are many changes I have added in myself and that this version has all the 6.4 content too.

What about the submod manager? Changing campaigns is easy and fast but RR/RC will include huge files so it will take a lot of time to change campaigns.

It doesn't seem any of the intended 1370 maps are making progress though which is actually what I would most look forward to so I can enjoy all the later roster fun without having to play 200 turns.
In the 2.0 text document, in the " FOOT 2H MELEE WEAPONS" section I see "light sword". It's also in the 1H section, but with only 3 attack. What's a light sword and was it supposed to be longsword? Those were used with either one or two hands.
I also see "sword". Which kind is that?
I see "claymore", but I don't see "greatsword" (which is what the current Zweihanders use and what the Landsknechts would use).

What about the Royal Ladies of the Court? I really want that for roleplaying purposes. I also thought that I saw a reemergent faction mod/script around here somewhere, which would also be good for challenge and roleplaying.

Maybe I don't understand it fully, but I see no point in the Ladies mod. In any case, it will be optional and easy to toggle with the installer.
The Real Rebellion mod (I think that's what it was called) will be in.
Ah ok that was the Real Rebellion mod, I see that in the list of scripts he's running. Hehe I wasn't sure what that was when I first looked at the list but now I know.
About the Ladies mod. I find it useful to have incase the game does not offer wives to your family members, which can endanger you entire game since no heirs are born. This does not mean heirs will be born, but having everyone married will drastically increase the chances. There is also a nice roleplaying element too.
I would be fine if it was an option in an installer, just as long as an option exists. If it's in anyway and you don't want it you don't have to use it, just ignore it![]()
