Poll: Dol Amroth Blue or not?

Hi. Due to the number of comments about the Dol Amroth units being blue, I wanted to post a poll with Men at Arms of Dol Amroth in shiny silver mail vs the original blue armour. The thing is that I listen to people, so I'm just interested to see what the difference is for people when they see them together.

I think the blue looks nice, BUT I'm not averse to peoples' viewpoints. It's an interesting thought (even if it doesn't lead to changes)!

The blue is nice, but it should be silver, maybe it could change depending on the armor level? Blue then Silver, because they look unarmoured in blue.

Don't worry about - I do things like that all the time!

Well, I'll test some other units in this fashion. They're quite shiny - I made them slightly duller before this version, but we'll see what others look like.

Well, I was thinking that you could make a little bit of a darker blue. The current blue is too bright for my taste to be honest.

Well, the voting isn't quite as decisively against as I thought it would be....I will be thinking of a way to do this, never fear...mr Brain is already ticking away like a microwave ready to explode...I like the blue, just wasn't sure I was right to think so.

Right. I will make this a tester then. We'll try a darker blue and a body with a silver helmey soon as I can.

Yep. Fanks! Will be working on this. The reason I put a poll up was because DA is my dream faction...the chance of doing it at all was brilliant, and it HAS to be perfect, so hence this poll.
I mean, Dol Amroth was the thing that made me love Tolkien's stuff the most and put me onto the silmarillion to read all about the Noldor, who seemed pretty similar in doodinessm - especially Gondolin.

Well, there is this wandering idea of blue for beginning and silver for upgrades, but I wouldn't easily be able to release both, as you'd have to have a patch....althought that potentially possible to have a silver guys' patch, it's possibly painful for all involved...let me think.

I will try a selection of these ideas, and then will make a choice that's heavily influenced by the poll. Be back soon with some.

Mmm. Wel, I reskinned these guys to silver...here's the blue AND silver versions, and I've decided that the silver look betterer....depedns on what you think too

They both look good, but the blue one is more unique it's different than all the other factions and I like that, honestly I don't exactly know which one i prefer, me likes both
