    Icon5 Does diplomacy scale with how much money you have?

    For instance, does it cost the same amount to buy a specific province or buy back a captured noble if I have 100 gold or 100,000 gold?

    Yes.

    It's way cheaper to buy regions in the beginning, though. After a while, the AI is loth to part with them.

    Damn, figures, I want to buy Lisbon but Castille won't do it for 350K, Murcia and Granada...oh well, there are other ways to settle such matters.
