Why does anyone make an internets clan? There is no material advantage to it. We get no money from it, no resources, nothing tangible at all. Perhaps it is a longing for identity, a sense of belonging, and shared values, the very things that have been destroyed by the scourge of liberal-capitalist individualism. Perhaps we all secretly desire to pwn peoples' faces and flame them afterwards. Perhaps a trollface.jpg lurks within all our hearts. Perhaps it is all of those things. It is possible to perceive similarities between the growth of clans and the post-war rise in football fan clubs, new age cults, and religious fundamentalism. As our leaders neglected collectivist concepts like "the nation" and encouraged capitalist individualism and atomistic self-interest, we looked to other forms of collective identity to fill the void. And that, perhaps, is what the TW community really is. A haven of camaraderie and collectivism in a self-interested, materialist and individualistic world.

You could always just ban greece.Or take it yourself to deny them the best camping faction. But I usually see one or two campers a week..it also could mean they have no skill and thats all they know how to do because they do it in campaign...and if clanners do it...isnt that against some rule-thing clans have?

Corner and red line camping are indeed not....and if they do that with spartans...simply bring pikemen and u can kill them easily. If they bring pikemen simply bring spartans

I agree with you it's not the best thing to do. But it is an option. I wasn't trying to insult all greek city states players bu suggesting that, but i mean no offence by this, don't most of the non-clan greek city state players camp or stay static?
Also, Hills are valid and the box is like NTW/ETW square. i agree theyre boring, but using them and losing is the best way to attempt to kick the habit for people. If that doesnt work, oh well.
Corner/ red line. This is annoying, but fun in 2v2. The camper and his ally usually have a massive argument.

brittannia can be used to rush, and it can be used to skirmish very well but you should avoid having to bring a balanced army as much as possible...

Wouldn't Brits be rather poor against campers who camp properly? Afterall, Brits normally have to surround to win. Though honestly I've never tried it.
Personally if I find a hill camper, or red line camper, I do they same until they get the point. Or I leave, as there really is no point in playing these sort of people.

oh, i didnt mean a redline camper, that would be rather difficult. I was thinking a box near the middle of the map, actually i think thats the only kind i've seen. although your right, it is a bit of an empty victory

If it's a box..shoot it until it dies. If it's corner or redline..I guess Pikes? Also, from my friend's logic on Britannia, theyre good against boxes because the heads can be aimed at the back. Sorry if thats stupid and repetitve.Also, a great majority of the people who do this act poorly when you refuse to charge in like a raving lunatic and when they lose. In RTW2, there should be some anti-camper thing..
