Crusader States new faction icon?

The CS faction icon was one I did long ago. I would like to change it. I can either touch up the current one or find something else that would best represent the faction. I don't know if there is somthing better than what we have but I thought I would ask if anyone else has an idea. Here is what we have and one I did that could work maybe?

How about changing the first one's color to red and making the Crusader State's secondary color red?

Also I think in Kingdom of Heaven, i kno just a movie maybe not historical, they had baby blue and white or gold. Could give that a try and see what you think.

I swear, they actually used those colours, but I don't know where I read that. But it looks really good in Broken Crescent.

Those are the colours of the KOJ only. The CS need something representing all Outremer.
The obvious problem is there was no actual flag representing all crusader states.

Then ditch crusader states and just have KoJ with Jerusalem, Acre, and Tripoli (whatever name its under). Problem solved.

That doesn't actually solve any problems. KOJ did not own Acre or Tripoli in 1100, and how do you represent Edessa and Antoich? It's not historical to have them rebel.

How about a checkered shield with all four Crusader States represented. Include:
The Cross of the KOJ
The Cross of the Principality of Antioch
The Cross of the County of Tripoli
The Cross of the County of Edessa

It would look somewhat like this one:



But with all four crosses represented.

Well, i love the current white & gold style, but the red and gold color is quite interesting, I'd like to see how one of that style would turn out.

Why not overlap the KOJ and POA flags in a checked form, like the English coat of arms?

Tough call, because the crusader states are representing all the crusading states. I think the Jerusalem banner is the best in this case since its the capital plus I like the way it looks.

Likewise, I do like the CURRENT Crusader States banner, but if anything needs to change, unless you can make something awesome I'd say checked POA and KOJ flag.

Will try a few different suggestions. I do like the idea of a checkered POA and KOJ shield.
