    Default Chain of River Ports

    Hi guys,
    I found a new building called Chain of River Ports. And I saw its bonuses. And again I noticed it is available only when certain conditions or certain year is reached. But I have no idea about how to get it and what actually is. I accidentally found it in EDB. Some of you guys might know. Pls explain me..

    Well duh....

    I think he's more interested in the year or building requirements.

    Well, that IS the building requirements.

    There are no specific year stated, but the settlement needs the hidden resource River, in order to build them.

    This the the entry in the EDB:

    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    building hinterland_river_access
    {
    levels river_port
    {
    river_port requires factions { northern_european, middle_eastern, eastern_european, greek, southern_european, } and hidden_resource river
    {
    capability
    {
    population_health_bonus bonus 1
    trade_base_income_bonus bonus 1
    }
    material wooden
    construction 3
    cost 1200
    settlement_min city
    upgrades
    {
    }
    }
    }

    I meant required buildings, not building requirements. My bad.

    Well, it needs to be atleast a Minor City (first stone walls) and the region needs to have the hidden resource River, in order for the building to be buildable.

    Let me look up which regions have this resource..

    Edit: The following regions have the hidden resource River:

    Bulgar
    Magdeburg
    Krakow
    Wroclaw
    Kiev
    Frankfurt
    Metz
    Prague
    Nuremburg
    Paris
    Esztergom
    Angers
    Vienna
    Tbilisi
    Targoviste
    Zagreb
    Sofia
    Baghdad
    Cairo
    Lyon
    Belgrade
    Salzburg
    Plock
    Sophia
    Cologne
    Yaroslavl
    Kazan

    Note, this is the Early Campaign. It might be different in other campaings, though I doubt it. The rivers are still there

    Are the bonuses and buildings comparable to regular ports?

    Nope. It is a new building that is introduced in 6.3. It is not visible on the strategy map. It has happiness bonus plus trade bonus.
    Again is there anyway to change the name from <hinterland_river_access> to Chain of River Ports?

    Report it with that screenshot in bug reports for 6.3. Same with any other typos etc you find, only CTDs go in seperate topics.

    There is another bug similar to it.
    Scholae Barracks is shown as <hinterland_byzantine_imperial_barracks> in the building browser.

    Hooorayyy!!
    The problem fixed by myself.

    I go to export_building in text folder and added a line. And of course it works.

    {hinterland_river_access_name}River Ports

    So in the building browser it appear as River Ports. Yes. It is optional. You can use another name instead of River Ports by replacing River Ports in export building file.
    I accidentally found it by scrolling and wondering how to change it. Then I saw this line.
    {sea_trade_name_ }Sea Trade
    Then I got an idea and wrote that line and see if it is true in the game.

    Now I am wondering what name should I give to this.
    {hinterland_byzantine_imperial_barracks_name}???????

    I would have been a modder if the internet is much better here in Myanmar.
