Default Why is Stainless Steel 6.3 1TPY

Does anybody know why Stainless Steel is 1TPY I can't think of any advantage to it, Don't get me wrong I love the game and am thoroughly enjoying it but I just wondered why it is 1TPY????

Search the sub-mod forum to find a 2TPY mod.

Suppose they did it to move through time a bit faster and cover a larger timeframe within the same number of turns.

Actually the thing behind it was that i could make named characters age properly.

nah, it will stay the same. Only you will build and recruit 2x faster, and all the events (mongols etc) will happen only on the right turn meaning mongols still invade 1220 but u have 2x more turns to get prepared..

oh ok thanks gracul excellent mod by the way mate. Sound like it would make the game a little easy if I just go ahead and change the 2tpy as I will have twice aslong to do everything although the AI would as well. Think I will leave it as is for now as I haven't really made any changes to ss 6.3 apart from the fixes you posted about and am finding it very stable for a full conversion.

use the Live Long and Prosper sub mod. Helps add a few years to your generals in the early campaign.

Well the problems aren't huge, it apperently breaks the aging-script so it will at least solve the need for longer living generals

Apparently it's a problem with the sub-mod launcer, several mods are just breaking random unrelated scripts.
Like the Faster Turn Times 2.0 breaking longer assimilation.

It seems BGR conflicts with quite a few things on here so I haven't bothered with that. With FTT I downloaded the one that was specific for my settings before he made an all encompassing one accessed by the sub mod launcher and never had a problem with it.

I did look at the LL&P mod but as I am half way through campaign I downloaded it to apply before I start another one. What does it mean by breaking age script what features in the game will this affect?
