Is the Torrent Working?

I wanted to get all of the d/l done in one go, so I tried the torrent, but out of 88 seeders I'm connected to 9 of them yet I have a 0 kbs download rate...

Any suggestions?

I've added a howto to description on the torrent site. The torrent hoster itself is also offering a FAQ on that issue.
He displays a notice in the top part of the http site if your connection / configuration is bad which then leads to information on how to resolve the issue.

NOTE FOR NEW USERS TO TORRENTS:
If you have problems with really slow torrent speeds you might have to set up port forwarding. How this is done is dependent on your router and what client you use, here's the uTorrent guide:

If that doesn't help, use the http.

strangely enough, all I had to do was switch to a different torrent app. I switched to uTorrent and it works fine now 950 mb/s....SS6.3 here I come!

That would have been the only thing left to suggest. Might I asked what were you using before?

We actually have 2 dedicated seeders so the torrent should stay alive for a long time.
Thanks for offering but with a wopping 85 seeder(s) to 30 leecher(s) ratio it should be ok.

I never say no to more uploading.

Besides, I think my ISP is playing the "oh no you don't" game with me. as my speed just dropped to 5k/b and it's just climbed back up, slowly, to 620 kb/s and climbing.

Either that or my wireless is screwing up again, either way, looks like about an hour till I can play. But SS is worth the wait.\

Also compare the ressource usage of Vuze to utorrent. From what I remember of Azureus there should be quite a gap unless Vuze made vast improvements.

Vuze is @ 100 mb
uTorrent is @ 24mb

Yeah, Vuze still is a bit of a hog.

remember to check out the bugs forum for some small fixes that corrects a CTD and an issue for the faction banners... they can be found under the Bug Reports for 6.3 thread...
