Please don't create identical topics in different forums.
Doing so is asking for two (identical) answers when you only need one.
If a topic is placed in the wrong forum it will be moved. Thanks![]()
Consider posting your reply from a week ago to help him leave with a smile.
6.3 seems to be improved on the graphical side of things (more detail + colour). What are your PC specs?
Perhaps try turning down the options in your Video settings and see if the problem resolves. You might want to reduce unit size also. If running the game on lowest settings reduces your lag then its on your side.

Also have a look at What are the system requirements for 6.3
for tips on performance improvement.
Many thanks Bane, when I resign from permanent arrows and turn off shadows everything works fine.
p.s it is really amazing what modders do with graphic in MTW2,the best game is game "modding friendly"
p.p.s it is really shame that CA game designers wants only sold the games and not make Napoleon and Empire so modable like MTW2.

Small note on the advice you might read about kingdoms only using one of the cores (its a singlecore game):
Prioritising the kingdoms process on cpu1 doesn't help that much - the OS should acually do this on its own and let the rest of the processes run on the idle cpu(s). Thats why some i5s and i7s models might be the best fit for this game as they can overclock 1 core to match the lacking multicore support.
Couldn't agree more. Never would have bought M2TW without the modding community. Talk about irony.p.p.s it is really shame that CA game designers wants only sold the games and not make Napoleon and Empire so modable like MTW2.
I have a very similiar spec machine to the original post and have VISTA 64, what OS do you have? I found I could leave text files in the mod to their default high setting and put all graphics options on highest but with permanent arrows did have few big battle problems but as soon as I turned permanent arrows off the rest was fine at top settings.
I have VISTA 64 also so maybe it is something with OS...

6.3 comes defaulting to windowed.. so if you got sli and possible crossfire you need to turn off windowed mode.. do that in config.cfg or whats that file called, change windowed =true to windowed=false
have the same problems as most here... battle crashes 'case of a graphical error.... although this happens during the pre-battle loadscreen or after the battle results screen... not during the battles...
and my comp is a rather big monster (i7 2,8 Mhz, 4 Gb RAM, GTS250 W7 Ultimate 64)
