I've been playing as the Iberians for about 20~ years in game and am currently in control of perhaps 85% of Iberia. I make about 20 000~ a turn with a 2x full stacks. Well honestly im not used to making this much money as an exrm player so im wondering if there are still negative traits associated with having >50 000 denarii stored up.

Which version of RTR are you using?

I'm not sure if we removed the trait or simply made the threshold higher. But you won't get issues with 50.000 denarii for sure.

Also, the costs for buildings and units have been increased. So you indeed make much more money than in ExRM, but the costs are also higher.

Oh, and in Iberia are the Rio Tinto silver mines. They really add a lot to your income

I have had the same experience. Begining the FoE campaigns with iberians requires some sacrifices (maybe disband the cavalry) but after takink 2 or 3 cities it gets quite easy. because of the huge amout of money you get.

yeah i know! i think i have something like 5-6+ units of my best cavalry + 2 units of light cavalry running around. I actually made those because my income felt a tad too high and i was worried about stockpiling =_=;; but it seems i still make around 10-15k~ a turn even with stacked building slots soooo i guess i will go invade some place. next is the autonomous poleis. They have decent stack in the south i will have to fight

Yeah I mass produced two armies to stop a Gaul invasion of my allies who are to the right on Iberia, can't remember their name buts it not the dynasty one. Anyhow After all my troops I couldnt select anymore even in regions I didnt buy troops. So I quit without saving just short of beginning my Gaul campaign :/

What's exactly your problem? Did you run out of population or money?

Nope neither, I think it was a problem with the scripts because when I reloaded it was fine and that was an autosave after the problem.
