Re: Problem with rtw
Are you installing from an official RTW disc or something else?
What have you done with UAC?
Where did you install the game to?
It's best to install to a folder other than 'c:\program files (x86)' - try creating your own program files folder (put your initials in front of the name).

Re: Problem with rtw
im installing from an original rtw 1.0 disc's nd ive only installed the game to where it auto installs which i thought would we where the patches would automatically install too. whats a UAC??
as far as i learned last night in order for it to patch the rtw properly i would of had to originally install it in the normal program files not the x86 bit so yeah i think i can fix this problem just by doing that but ill have to wait and see tonight

Re: Problem with rtw
Hi there.
It sounds like you have installed the game in one folder, and the patches in a nother folder. As Brusilov adviced, use a seperately named gamefolder. But call it Rome Total War instead, and have all game related files installed in there. After that, check trough the game shortcut, to see if the exe. relates to the right path.
