Default Campaign Map banners & shields

I am having some issues with the banners & shields in 6.3, the reason being they are no longer intuitive like in 6.3, for instance the Scottish Shield is Yellow, while everything else about them has a blue color scheme. Also some of them, like Crown of Aragorn (sp?) look terrible, with the square logo sticking out horribly on the banner. Are there any mods that bring back the 6.2 banners for most factions (excluding the new ones obviously)?

    Aragon.....
You obviously want the Third Age Mod forum.

As for the banners, i've not had any difficulty with them whatsoever. They look great in my mind and mostly very historical (such as the Scotland one i believe).
You could search the sub-mod forum but i fear most people would agree with me.

Crown of Aragon, don't know where that extra R came from happy now?

But the main problem I have is that the banners and coat of arms no longer match for all the factions. I admit that I probably will get over this learning curve, but it just seems a bit jarring at first.

Although I do agree with the fact that I dislike the flags not matching the campaign symbols, their might be a submod for scotland like that in the process. If not, you could always do it yourself and make a name for yourself as the man who matched the flags

side question: How to export 6.3 campaign symbols onto 6.1?
Cassius: "Our men at arms have secured the city. We've received representatives from all the best elements. The senate is with us, the knights are with us."
Brutus:"The pontifs, the urban cohorts, the lictors guild..."
Antony: "Oh, the lictors guild, very good. Only rally the bakers and the flute players and you can put on a festival."

I thought that was only for 6.2? I searched his topics and I had no indication that he finished his mod for 6.3 yet.

Re-download 6.2 (or 6.0/6.1 if you prefer the dirtied symbols), install to the Desktop, and copy the faction symbols into the 6.3 data folder yourself. The path should be /data/menu/symbols/. Make a backup, of course. No Ireland in 6.3, don't forget that.

My problem is I can't figure out how to replace the faction symbols that appear during the AI turn cycle and the one that serves as your faction button on the Campaign Map UI (y'know, the one you press to see Agents, Cities, Armies, etc). I think I have to edit the strategy.sd (or shared.sd?) file, which I have no idea how to open. But the 6.3 ones aren't bad.

As for changing a faction's colors on the radar mini-map, the color values are defined in descr_sm_factions (as primary colour, the filler color, and secondary colour, the border color).
