I think Rohan.
I think Rohan.

Isengard. As usually attacked by Rohan, Eriador and High Elves same time, you as one of these faction need to just pick their generals, conquer some easy settlements and siege Isengard itself. If you are lucky Saruman will leave safety of citadel to perform some silly mission of his own and usually gets killed by some wandering Rohan battalion -> faction destroyed.
Time is the killer.
Harad, Mumakails aside they just plain suck. If Isengard (or any of the others), actually manage to pull through, they're in somewhat good shape. Overall i've never had too much trouble with Harad. (Their Mumakail armies aside, but they're not that much tougher than the trolls...)
Clearly has his priorities straight.
Whoops, I misunderstood the poll, as slowbro did
I voted Gondor (my choice for easiest faction) but my answer here will be OotMM![]()
I'm at turn 150 now and Harad is making me a hard time with there Muma's and serpent guards. Orcs are the easiest, especially OoG.
Eriador. Just ally with them.
Buy all their lands kept their last remaining settlements.
Declare est and blitz their last remaining cities.
Replenish your relations with other factions.
xD
Or well, not really. Maybe that doesn't count.
I find Gondor the easiest. Swarm them with Orcs, and crush them with Nazghuls and Trolls. Gondor is strong all around, there's no fields where they are really UBER.
They have no Trolls or monsters. They lack cavalry. They bring very few archers. Their armies usually consists of weak footsoldiers whom are easily crushed by nazguls, and route instantly once the Orcs arrive after a successful Troll charge.
Only downside is that they outnumber my orcs, but with Night Battle, I just slaughter them all systematically.
Second easiest are the Dwarves. They stand no chance versus diverse armies. Archers and some cavalry completely obliterates them. They're really easy in the open field, but if you are sieging, or being seiged, prepare to suffer their uber god like infantry...

And NO, my avatar is the coat of arms from the Teutonic Knightly Order because they're awesome.
I've played 3 eriador campaigns and in every campaign the OOG where dead before turn 35.
you took all 6 of their settlements in 10 turns? As who?
I don't know because AI is stupid, but in general easiest factions to beat are those who don't have mounted generals bodyguard, because that I voted Dale, very and very week units at beggining of game.
You don't need to get all the settlements to kill a faction; if there's no family left, the faction dies, you know this. The spawned rebel-killer generals are NOT in the family tree. So in truth, Isengard has only 2-3 family members. You don't necessarily need to take all 6, just 2-3. Maybe less if you catch them in the field.
Assuming that the players is playing with the nearest "enemy" faction, i think Dale is the weakest. Rhùn is pretty powerful, and Dale pretty weak at the starting; if the player goes straight against them, they will fall easily because they are very concentrated in a relatively small region. Also, Rhùn will only have to face them and maybe the Dwarven.
LOL Gungabad
The OOG were a joke to beat with Eriador. They were done within the first 30 turns.
P.S. Not a big deal, but you spelled GunDabad wrong.
