I always want to know government system in EB. Can someone explain me how this government system works?
For example, I look for pdf document of Saka Rauka's building tree and I saw two government types; Nomadism and Pastoralism. What is this?

type IV buildings give you a lot of the conquered factions units right? If I want the cool units from say Carthage, do I have to establish a type IV in one of their homeland regions for the best effect? I tried making on of the cities near their capital a IV, but I would have had to spend time building auxilia buildings for mad turns, and I needed type II in that case, so I destroyed it without ever learning how many units I would have been able to make. The first auxilia building just offered some lame numidian skirmishers. So much for military focus type IV....
You won't get African infantry or Sacred bands. Type IV will allow you to recruit great regional units (if they exist in the area).
For example, a type IV on northern spain gives you the great Asturian Axemen, building one on the spanish city where Barcelona is located nowadays gives you an iberian infantry pretty much equal to the roman infantry.
Building one in Scordisci territory allows you to recruit their heavy infantry, they are brilliant.
Building one in southern gaul allows you to pretty much recruit a gaulish army, with noble cavalry and heavy shock infantry.
On the other hand, building a Type IV in greece gives you.....crappy hoplites and crappy skirmishers.
On north africa i wouldn't recommend building a type IV on Carthage or Atiqa, do them on the Algerian provinces, they'll give you incredible Numidian Skirmishers, light cavalry, archers and infantry![]()
thanks for the advice guys, I wasn't really sure which regions were good for type 4. Although for the record, I like the crappy greek hoplites lol. I think they're useful.
