    Default A Dragon Age Mod

Originally I posted this in the BioWare sub-forum but I thought why not also throw it in here.

Like I said there, I'm surprised no one seems to be trying to make a TW conversion mod in the Dragon Age universe. It's a tall order but I think it's totally possible with a team of creative, dedicated, and skilled people.

The most important thing right now even before considering anything having to do with models, skins, and scripts is to conquer and better understand the DA lore and world. Unfortunately we only know very little about this universe outside of Origins, Awakening, and what small bit we can glean from pre-release Dragon Age 2.

I'd like to first get a group of interested people together to take care of that and lay the foundation upon which to build such a mod.

Thus I need people (preferably DA fans naturally) who are rather creative and would enjoy diving head first into the DA lore to hammer out the details and really help give the mod direction - maybe even create new content to fill in the blanks and gaps that already exist in the franchise.

Essentially I need researchers and creative writers.

If anyone is interested in helping out either respond on here or send me a PM.

    Thanks

If you're going to make this mod, Then consider this:

In the expansion you play as a Grey Warden commander and rule a land. You get the feeling of how you cant protect all your land, but have to pick where you'd like to place your soldiers, I think you could pick between Amerenthine and Farmland and the Vigil's Keep.

So from this, I thought instead of making a big province, covering a large amount of land with farmlands and mines and all where just a city represents all this [This is how MTW2, and all mods work like]. You make a small region [Very small] which is almost as large as the town it self, but a bit larger. Then around it are the farmlands/Fishing/Mining lands or villages OR W/E. And then you limit building farms and mines etc in the town, and make it only buildable in the villages.

This way it's possible to destroy one's economy without having to take over a capital or a larger town, And stops people from turtling their towns and makes them defend their people like a real leader should do AKA give your peasants a larger role in this game

Here's an awefuly drawn example made by me: [Colors represent the provinces]
