    Default Recruitable generals?

Browsing through the earliest threads of the XGM forum, I came across a thread announcing recruitable generals for version 3 of XGM. I've had XGM 5.9.7 for quite some time now and I haven't come across any recruitable generals.

    Why aren't they in 5.9.7?
    Can they be put back?

Edit= I do know now I haven't got the latest version.

All you need is an Imperial Palace (i.e. a Huge City). They work with all of the exe's. Barbarian factions don't get them.

It seems a lot unfair for the barbarian. Traditionally after hundred of battles they should have many generals as well as governors. The barbarian generals are usually has dumb traits with problem of drinking 2 much after building the tavern. After 5-6 years as a governor they became lazy and drunkard. lol I even thinking about adding brothel to the building list in order 2 make them even worse

To get good traits with Barbarians you must use them as generals for a while before using them as governors. If you just leave them sitting in a settlement they will always turn out bad. Once they have established their reputation on the battlefield they can become quite good governors.

*edit* BTW, I will add recruitable generals for the Barbarians in the next version.

its just plain impossible, barbarian general doesnt have that many bodyguard as the civilized faction does. And warfare is just a constant problem so using un-experienced general will not bring many victories. I hope you make the barbarian ability to build huge city and some kind of education

So, how do the recruitable generals work? You get new characters or just the bodyguard?
