The moral of what Mega is saying is do a forum search before posting. You can find help and solutions much quicker than just complaining.

Your computer is probably better than his. Pretty sure I'll also only get a marginal increase, but then, it's at under 1 minute for me in 6.2.

I don't have a top-of-the-line system, but i still managed about 40sec on 6.3 'vanilla' and while using the faster turn times i'm now under 20 for most turns.
So yes, if turn rimes are your problem you HAVE to download it, i mean 50% is nothin to snuff at!

Exactly. I recommend anyone with anything but a very high-end computer to get the FTT and fluff sub-mod.

Only if you enjoy the camp sacking and the siege upkeep script.
For the siege upkeep script, you could check out my small sub-mod (warning: untested) that tries to make it more dynamic, though.

If you consider 30 princesses coming of age per turn, and getting into a huge war with all the ai's little armies each with their own 1 or 2 camp sacking notifications, or going broke without the ability to foresee it, then no, it doesn't take away enjoyable things

Just saying, unless that is added manually it won't be compatible. But I'll try it out soon as im done testing other possible bugs mine may have.

It should be compatible (or, due to you removing the sacking script, one will actually RECEIVE an extra 375 florins (one will lose money later in the game, though) with my sub-mod) now. And toggle-able. And easily installed.

    I love peoples maturity.

This is the equivalent of getting bored waiting for a bus and jumping off a cliff because it's late. s sake, get some maturity. There are people out there with far more pressing issues than waiting 2 minutes longer for an AI's turn to complete.

Just because other people have worse issues and cannot play, doesn't mean they have to stick with the mod

If you take off the "watch CPU moves" or whatever it is called than the turns should be shorter because your not watching the CPU move everyone. It's done at the start of a new game, should be avail. in the options too somewhere.

Historydude's excellent faster turns mod did the trick for me. My turns take ~20 seconds now, and nothing significant has been lost gameplay wise as far as I'm concerned.
