    Icon5 Question about SS 6.3

I just installed SS 6.3 the other day and during setup I was asked a lot of questions about gameplay...how do I change those settings without reinstalling SS? And if I reinstall what will happen to my old saves?

Run the setup.exe in the SS6.3 folder.

if you've already run the exe, then you've installed the game. Run the exe again, and select a campaign. Then select your features again and start a new one! IIRC, you can't change features midgame.

SO is it the setup.exe or the launcher.exe? I didn't wanna run setup again and delete my late period campaign if I chose early or something but I don't see the difficulty questions and game settings anywhere within the game after clicking the launcher.exe. If I choose early this time how would I access my late campaigns? Will running setup.exe again create a new link?

Copy your save file to another folder before you run the setup.exe if you want to keep your save file.

No need. The launcher keeps separate folders for savegames for each campaign.

Am I doing something wrong or is it like installing the game again? I have SS installed and I have MTW2 installed but it is saying I don't have enough HD space to run the setup again...is that because it is basically like creating an all new game again and my HD is too full to do so? (My HD is very full...but I don't want to clear space if I'm doing something wrong and don't have to)

Are you running the setep.exe that you downloaded, or the ss_setup.exe in the SS6.3 folder?

It was on my desktop so I'm not sure which it was...I'll find the one in the folder.

Remember that there also should be new easy shortcuts in your windows start menu
    From the release post:
If you wish to switch from early to late or viceversa, or change the script features, just run the setup from start menu (SS_setup.exe inside ss folder).

    setup.exe = SS6.3.exe in your torrent / download folder.
configuration setup = ss_setup.exe in the SS6.3 folder

I am certain that when I installed SS6.3 I was told that there were some keys to hit to find out what the current settings of a game are. I did not write it down. (Really stupid at my age). Does anyone know what it is? I can't find anything even with the advanced search. (I can't find my glasses half the time.) The reason that I would like to know is to check to see what AI is running on the 2 games I have installed on different computers because on one of the I can't get the battle camera to operate in unrestricted mode although it shows it is not restricted on the options screen and in the Med2 preferences.cfg file.

I think it's scroll lock. It pulls up the descriptions of each of your settings in game.

Yes! I thought that might be it and hit that button once but it must have been at the wrong time.

I am having my game crash near the end of going through the AI factions; it happens before the rebel shield comes up. I think it must be because I modified the year to be half-years with a 0.50. Did I do a Boo-Boo? Will SS6.3 not take this or did I make the entry wrong and it should be .5, or O.5, or .50?

Also, I do not like the RR Bug, because while I can cheat and create units like mailed knights apparently the AI can't as the French only have mounted sergeants and no knights!

Moved all posts regarding the CTD to Bug Reports forum:
Having a repeated crash at the end of the same turn
