Alexander Total War: Playable Indian Factions and Alexander never dies

Hey, I recently bought Alexander Total War. I've managed to get all the factions playable apart from India, increased the turns and also made it so if Alexander dies I can carry on the campaign.

However, I was wondering how to make it so Alexander doesn't die from old ages.

And also, if there is a mod someone has made so India are playable in the game.

My understanding of using the Alexander exe is that your faction leader cannot die of old age.

When I used the Alexander exe for RS1.5 I found that sometimes the Faction Leader was about 10. However, eventually I realized that this was because they got to a certain age and then it 'rolled over' to 1 again.....

I've forgotten what the exact trait was that had to be removed - it was several years ago that I found that out. I've had a quick look for various documents that I keep that can be useful but I can't find anything that is relevant to this...

Anyone know how to then? Or know of the existance of a playable indian mod etc

I don't think India even appears as a faction in the campaign. I vaguely recall beating it once (with heavy use of cheats), but not attacking an Indian city. It does appear in the Historical Battles section, though.

Also, Alexander isn't nearly as popular as RTW and BI, so there's not too many mods out for it. There may be some, I don't know and haven't looked, just throwing that out there.

I know there isn't an India in the campaign. Thats why I'm asking if there is a mod that someone has made to implement it into the campaign.

Ooh yes. They seem pretty good, but still. I don't think they have it so Alexander never dies from old age.

Also, will they work with steam version?
