So i downloaded the SS 6.3 files and realised they were .bin files. And uh my question is...how do i extract the files in them? If i click on them, they opened up using VLC media player and i can't proceed further. Any help is appreciated thanks.

You will have to download part 6 in the 6.3 thread. That is the setup executable

You need part 6 of the download which is the .exe file.
