    Default Dunland

In most of my campaigns, the North West section of campaign map is always easily conquered by good factions, and Dwarves always annihalate OoG. To add some balance I wondered if anybody would be able to add Dunland onto the campaign map, giving them the rebel settlements which would make it harder for good teams to expand and make them strong enough to defend against Eriador.
I am no modder but I thought we could make Dunland a vassel to Isengard if that is possible?
Please post any comments/ideas you have
I will need help off anybody who has experience off adding new factions and units

EDIT: This would be for TATW 2.1

If you wont this just play excelent mod made by koulturas and his team, there exist Dunland,Lorien,Elves of Mirkwood,Dwarvens of Ered Luin, you can chose another faction and crush tham in 8 turns, because now Isengard,Dwarvens and Silvan Elves are divided, their armies and lands are divided---but FROME mode is a masterpiece if you wont to command one of this new factions.

Sincerly my advice would be rather to make to Isengard ,Dwarvens and to elves some regional units from FROME but keep factions united, let say Centinels of Cerin-Amroth can serv to both elven factions,Ered Luin arcers can be very useful as well as Dunland hevy cavalry, and to make game interesting we should give to each faction a army bigger or smaller, let say Mordor and Isengard huge armies, elves and dwarvens little but the best.

Small armies, few units in battalions,Eldar 101,dwarvens 121 but make each their unit twice stronger than any other because elves dies only in battles and have learn to make weapons from VALARS,as well as long living dwarvens.

You see this is High Elven army from my compilation

And this are huge Mordor hordes.

No,Dunland was destroed by Rohan, but still in some Isengard Dunlad settlements can be recruited some of their units, and this scrinshots shows only way to stop fast expansion-by giving to each faction big, advanced armies, but still for a experienced player this even will help with fast expansion.

err... DUNLAND actually never got totaly destroyed....
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
...Guarding the Gap of Rohan was the fortress of Isengard, where a hereditary guard watched for Gondor. However, by the time of the Beren, Steward of Gondor, these guards had mixed with Dunlendings, and it had become hostile to Gondor. To remedy this situation, Beren gave Saruman the keys to Orthanc, to guard Isengard for Gondor.
Saruman used this old history to tempt the Dunlendings into supporting him during the War of the Ring.
After the battle at Helm's Deep, the Rohirrim allowed the surviving Dunlendings to return to their homes. The Rohirrim required that all hostilities cease, and that the Dunlendings retreat behind the Isen river again.

My excuse,I readed something like this just know that their faction was destroyed, but how you think koulturas still devided faction is good for game balance?

well if u are asking whether it is good or not to have
dunland as a distinguished faction in the centre of m.earth....then
the answer is obvious....i invested much time to make that happen so it was my impression that it will
have rather possitive than negative effects
now as for balance issues , i think tatw is better balanced with dunland (at least 1.4.1 was , i really cant say anything yet about 2.0)
cuz the majority of the good guys are pretty much packed up to the northern-western part of the map....
the same reason that led KK to add gundabad in the north has led us to make dunland as well
and not to mention that by that dunland has been made (admittely by the majority of the users that played dunland)
    the most difficult faction.....
those are solely my impressions of course...

I am currently in the progress of modifying all good factions to have smaller armies, but more skilled warriors, especially that of Elves and Dwarves. Giving evil factions bigger armies. I still think adding Dunland would balance game, because as koultouras said, north west is packed with good factions

You must script it as ar as i know, and you need new units for the faction, new UI, things that i cant do, maybe you should take a look in the submod section, maybe there is a guy that wants to help you with it?

Cheers, the most i can do is add a new faction (Normans) and give it the rebel settlements in that area, such as Lond Angren i think its called. I can give it generals, however i have no idea how to change banners, and add units etc
