    Default Building Based Recruitment

    pretty simple in theory. you build the building=you recruit the unit. it needs some fine tuning as there are multiple entries of unit per building but if you want straight forward recruiting... this is what you want. this is still in the testing phase. please leave feedback on problems, questions, suggestions etc.

    Nice work.
    Quick question though: does this overwrite the AOR system in game?
    Either way, I think I may use this mod. Thanks!

    this does not remove the AOR system. all it does is remove the counters on all units (with a few exeptions like gunpowder) so you can make any unit as soon as you have the appropriate building level. its like a throwback to 6.2 recruitment

    I'm trying it right now, maybe I will merge this mod into my mini-mod.

    EDIT: didn't work, units still don't appear in building descriptions...

    When I tried this not only units didn't appear but instead there were several others of the same units.

    Pretty much the same for me, many versions of the same unit, and the other units still didn't appear. Oh drats...

    could you post a picture of the recruitment? as i said all this does is remove the counters, which is why there are multiple entries. units still need to be avalable in the AOR.

    Well I'm not using this mod right now I had to uninstall the game because I've messed up with my files, but the truth is that many units aren't still listed in the descriptions and many are replicated in the description in up-tier buildings.

    I'll take a screenshot and upload next time I play, as I still continiue to my 6.2 campaign, I haven't changed the file of 6.3 yet. But it's basicly like in Building Browser, let's say in Barracks, there are multiple versions of the same unit, with same name and one after the other, like 3-4 of the Men-at-Arms in Barracks Browser.

    Besides that, I tried removing the counters myself "and not event counter ADV_MATCKLOCK 1" and "and not event counter HALF_PLATE_ARMOR 1" to no effect. So playing without RR is pretty much bugged up.

    there are many more counters than the 2 you listed. what unit are you looking for?

    I am trying to make every unit avaiable as soon as the building is built. I don't pretty much like waiting for around 100 turns (or 200 since I have 2TPY) to have knights and proper armies.

    right, i understand that. give me a particular unit for a faction and i will look it up for you. what units can be recruited in 6.3 have changed so what your looking for may no longer exist.
    example: im playing as sicily and i want norman knights and muslim archers

    Hmmm, I meant all units for all factions. I just don't know what to do, if it is too much work I will do it myself.

    right as i said, i understand that. all units for all factions SHOULD be available. i need you to tell me which ones are missing for you. keep in mind that the AOR is still in effect. this will take me forever if i have to go through faction by faction and check each unit. after you downloaded this you stuck it in you SS6.3/data folder right?

    yes, and all units are still missing from the buildings description, that's what I meant, so every units are missing (I mean those who didn't appear on the buildings description)

    for example miles infantry of england still doesn't appear in descriptions, aventuros of portugal, all pike units and halberds, many knight units, as well as every cavalry in the stables, excluding the first tier from each faction.

    aventuros require the "spanish inquisition" event which should happen on turn 249 (early campaign)
    miles dont seem to be in the EDB. in the EDU they are listed as the same as Norman Cavalry which doesnt show up in the EDB

    did you put my EDB in your data folder?
