Default We Want Russian and General Battle Music

Music for the campaign map is divided into cultures. For the Eastern_European culture are the factions: Kiev, Lithuania and Novgorod. We are lacking good music for these factions for the campaign map.

Most of the music for the game is now added to the game (its impressive!) although I havn't put in any battle music yet. I think I know what I will put in for the Middle_Eastern battle music although I really don't know what I will put in for the other cultures for battle music.

If anyone can provide any useful ideas either through youtube link or personal email as an mp3 (pm me) that would be good.

Criteria: Authentic. Either a reproduction of a medieval piece with medieval instruments or folk music in the style of medieval music.

    Cultures:

Middle_Eastern - Almoravids, Seljuqs, Fatimids, Syria, Rum
    Eastern_European - Kiev, Novgorod, Lithuania
Northern_European - France, England, Scotland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark (yeah I know)
Southern_European - All Italian and Iberian factions
    Greek - Byzantium, Georgia, Armenia
Central_European - Holy Roman Empire (Germans), Bohemia (Czech), Hungary, Poland
    Steppe - Cumans

Slightly off-topic, but where does Serbia fall in all of this?

Sadly they aren't a faction and Serbian music doesn't fit well in any of the cultures for music although if Serbian music was supplied if it didn't have too much in the way of vocals I could add it to the central european music. If you want to have an in depth answer as to why Serbia isnt a faction start a new thread and you'll get a good answer from someone.

Oh, I can guess why, considering that their empire didn't really blossom until the XIV century. I just thought I saw their faction on the official map.

The province of Serbia is on the map but the faction isn't as like you said, in 1080 Serbia as a faction didn't really exist.

Then why is Portugal a faction? In 1080 the County of Portugal was part of the Kingdom of Galicia (i.e. Castille)

Good point, but Baltic (that includes Lithuania) music is slightly different from Russian music. There are similarities though. I know it because I live in Baltic region
