Quick Late Era England Question

Ok. So I started an England campaign in the Late Era yesterday and i got my economy up enough to prepare an army to take on the Scots. I allied myself with France rather quickly but then about 2 turns later, the Scots ally with France. If i continue to go to war with the Scots, could i lose my alliance with France?

Depends on the AI you are using. But I have seen it happen before, I have not gotten into that situation in 6.3 yet. So I am not sure one way or the other.

France will be given an option; break ally with England, or Scotland - Choose.

Depends who they like best, so give them moneyz to make them like you!

@Shadowkiller2000- Im playing on M/M since i just downloaded the mod yesterday. Im trying to get a feel for it.
@Heskey- So should i just not go to war with the Scots yet? I cant afford to do a two front war at the moment.

Get your relations with the french to perfect by continually donating sums of 700 too them. then blow the scots too kingdom come

Well, you can always save the game, attack Scotland, and see who France chooses to remain allied with. If they ally with Scotland, you can reload your game and rethink your options. As others have stated, give them money and try to get their relations high, depending on how money you have, of course. I got Denmark's relations with me up to Perfect by giving them 7000 florins once(no previous gifts, either). Good luck!

Don't really worry about it. Even if you get into a war with France they would have the Pope nagging at their backs to stop fighting you.

France will choose ally depending on your rep too. Get higher rep than Scots and make better relations with pope and Fraance. France would break alliance with Scots.

Give them a small amount of money (300-500 per turn) and make sure your army look "stronger" than both France and Scot so France would break alliance with Scots
