England: Weird bug?

I just started playing this mod a few days ago and am loving it, the only weird thing being the English (the only faction I've played so far). In the campaign setup it shows English territory on map as red, and the usual three lions on the red backround as the flag. In the actual campaign though, the English territory shows up as grey, the flag as grey with a golden dragon, and the flag above cities/castles as what looks to be the timurids flag...any thoughts??

I did try loading and playing the game in different eras with the same results

alright, just asking here but at the begining when you picked the letter as to which era you wanted to play, next you clicked on custom campaigns and picked the exact same era also there?

example

clicked D for dark age
clicked on custom campaign
clicked darkage
then clicked on england
then start game

Is that correct?

I think the first time I ran the game I mixed the letter with the campaign played...I just lived with it for a bit though, thought mebbe I didn't get the English flag until I had conquered all of England (no dice =()

Since then I've tried all but one of the era's, making sure letter matched with campaign. Same problem with the flag. France still has their usual flag, thought mebbe it was a era thing for awhile

Welll for darkages I know that the grey flag with the dragon on it is the Saxons, but my towns would have the same flag. As for othr ages I know not as I always start play in darkages. can you post a screen shot?

Did you restart a new campaign in all eras and get this bug or did you try to play the same campaign in all eras (which should have probably resulted in a crash)?

I got your PM.

There are two possibilities here:

1) You may not have admin right on your box. This would interfere withthe launchers ability to properly configure the era. If you are getting any access denied, or file not copied when running the launcher....this is the problem.

Fix - Make sure you have admin right.

2) Your installations may be corrupt. Possibly an incorrectly applied patch?

Fix - Reinstall, and make sure the patch is installed to the same path as MTW2.

umm i reinstalled it like 5 times and the admin box is all they way to the bottom and still says access denied
