    Default RTW Opinion Poll

I'm making a poll here, and in the ETW forum, to find out how the opinions of people who played it. I've gotten into a discussion in which ETW was defended with the notion that RTW was buggy on release as well. I mused that more people that played RTW have positive opinions about it, than with those who played ETW.

This poll is only for people who played it.

Just vote according to your experiences (if you never played with mods, for example) and your opinion.

Well when i got my hands on it, after it wa spacthed u, i though it was great; But looking back on it, it has some major flaws in it. The huge squalor and the lack of FM are the two biggest. lack of unit and faction variety the other.

But at the time it was a great game

Since the patches toned down some minor problems it is imo still one of the best multiplayer RTS games known to man.

I thought it was great on release to be honest. Yes, there are things I would've changed about it, but it's only now that I've played with mods that I can see where the most serious shortfalls lie. Most of these are hardcoded problems with the engine though.

Didn't play pre-patch, so no vote from me.

I'd heard it was pretty buggy and some things were strange (Beserkers had another hit point IIRC). I'd be interested to see what your results are.

Please post your opinion even if you didn't buy the game before it was patched. What matters is your opinion on the game when it was finished, if you had only experienced it then.
