    Default Automatic destruction of religious buildings?

    I'm looking for a way to do it via EDB, if this isn't possible then I can probably script it.

    Taiji will this work:-

    monitor_event GeneralCaptureSettlement FactionType england
    and GeneralFoughtCulture middle_eastern
    destroy_buildings england temple_muslim true
    end_monitor

    Hey Ishan, thanks for the suggestion. Looks like it would work some of the time.

    This was what I was thinking about if I have to script it:

    monitor_event FactionTurnStart (or whenever) FactionIsLocal
    destroy_buildings england temple_muslim true
    .....
    etc., etc.

    Because when a settlement rebels or is gifted then it is not captured by a general. And also I prefer scripts to fire during the player turn, rather than in AI turns, if I can help it.

    If I found that the attempted execution of 140 destroy_buildings lines caused a noticeable slowdown then I'd think of another solution.

    BTW did you write that script?

    Yes, I play with me pebbles sometimes.
    I read a thread a long time ago by Rozanov, that played around with this command "destroy_builidings".

    As u mentioned that the script should also include the thingy when gifted and rebels:-

    monitor_event CityRebels TargetFactionType england
        destroy_buildings england temple_muslim true
        end_monitor
    Logically it should also work. What do u think Taiji?

    *shrug* Maybe

    I'm after a solution in EDB, though it's just a guess that such a thing is possible. I thought churches got destroyed anyway... Or was that RTW? ... Or did I dream it?

    Anyway my scripting idea doesn't even require a new monitor, so failing an EDB option I'll be trying that before considering any other route, if needed.
