It is a mod that makes the battles more "realistic". No more would you see a group of Elves lose to Uruk-Hai and no more will your Gondorian Infantry fall to the likes of Orc Raiders. RC (Real Combat) readjusts all unit stats based on many things such as unit skill, armor, their weapons, weapon and armor quality, terrain movements based on their homelands and all of that. RR (Real Recruitment) readjusts all unit and building costs and training times. In vanilla, Elven Warriors usually cost about 500-550 gold coins. In RC/RR, they cost about 1200. They are worth it though as the Elven armies can win over other armies, even when vastly outnumbered. I remember winning a battle with 400 Elves against 4004 Orcs. It was a heroic victory too. Anyways, RC/RR doesn't stop there. It also implements many submods into one large mod and it improves gameplay in both the battlefield and the campaign map. It is a highly suggessted mod, and it makes the game feel more "complete"

I don't get why its not added to vanilla TATW? I only use vanilla, don't wanna download any sub-mods that arn't apporved by KK. I trust his judgement.

It isn`t included in vanilla because updating it every version would mean additional work for the team..

Also, vanilla should appeal to as many people as possible and a handful of people dislike RC/RR; Only the gods know why.

I don't play RR\RC just because not all factions have same oportunities, only nations with Citadels and Huge cities can use real recruitment.

At first I was sceptical myself but the RC/RR mods are far and away the best production in Kingdoms mods there isnt even a comparison in my opinions. Only EB triumphs as far as involved game play but that is for RTW.
