ROME 2 TOTAL WAR FTW!
Go to the SS 6.3 folder and run the Launcher (launcher.exe?)
run ss setup.exe again from your ss6.3 folder.
What happens if you start an early era campaign with BGR, but then want to start a late era (or another early era?) campaign with new options... And then want to play your old campaign again? Do you need to reload SS_Setup, or when you launch are the mods specific to that loaded game?
You need to reload SS_Setup
What if you forget to select the same options when you choose a new campaign era?
That said I tend to just play Early Era, BGR IV, Assimilation, Limited Activities, Savage AI....
I'm not clear on the "what if" - you can reselect as often as you want.
The options that inject into the campaignscript are bound to the savegame as the campaignscript is saved there.
Any changes afterwards to the campaignscript don't affect that savegame and you have to restart the campaign for them to take affect.
Does this answer your question?
It mentions it when it mentions scroll lock...which im still unsure of what it does
Heskey it is all very simple. If you want to play an old save with a different campaign, then you just need to remember the options you had it set too and set it too them! if you dont remember, then try and set them to what you think they are and make a new save when you start the game. IF the game runs, then save often but do not overwrite the one you loaded up from. In 50 or so turns if no ctd, then it sounds good!![]()
