Is there any way to bring back army supply systems as it was in 6.2 without enabling the entirety of BYG?

i thought 6.3 still had that supply system.
Me and coding do not mix well, but I guess I can have a stab at it =P
Well basicly you have to find the coding referring to supply system in campaign_script (Both in imperial_campaign and early/late depending which you prefer!) cut it out and place it in a new safe textfile. remove byg and then go back to those files and put just the supply system in! like i said, ill try it out tomorrow, i dont mind reinstalling it, i save EVERYTHING to my computer incase i brake it xD
this is my theory atleast..
OH just noticed. youll also need all other files associated with the traits. requires more thought on my end.
Heh, yeah, far beyond the scope of what I am capable of doing, sadly =/ Which sucks, because I don't think I like playing without that aspect nearly as much.
Take your time =P not your job.
Not my job? NOT MY JOB? You see those gold rings under my name? They pay me to do whatever i can here as best i can in GOLD RINGS! Thats way better then any other job out there! idk bout you but melt those down and ill buy myself a mansion! xD
more seriously, i love helping people and being creative, like my hobbyso ill do it asap for me and you!
Hm. That was a surprise. Expected another "howto remove it" post...![]()
All I'd say is if you like the supply system (which I hated at first), then give BGR IV a try (although Scutage Tax is currently broken in 6.3)...
I know it's a massive change and it seems complex, but having gotten used to it I now can't play without it - It just seems so natural.
Read the guide once or twice; no it won't all make sense until you see it in action, and then boot up a campaign as a small faction and watch your generals traits as you take your turns, and pay attention to how different things have knock on effects on other things.
Viewed as separate sections, the parts of BGR IV seem overwhelming, but actually they all tie together and if one thing changes, something else does too.
Just give it a whirl and you'll end up hooked like me; I can remember a thread on a forum I post on not too long back advising friends to try 6.1 but not BGR as it makes it 'stupid'; I've since posted I take it all back! =]
Here's the one i found in data/txt
Dunno if this is what you were looking for. *feels slightly incompetent right about now*
hmm. noooope. byg just isnt for me! why? because i play very relaxed, and dont feel like putting that much thought into it or else ill only play when im in a really awake state.
and bane, im actually not sure what your suprised at, but i just woke up and ill look back here in an hour or so too see if im too sleepy too see it now![]()
Samesies. I think I play in "arcade mode" perpetually. And I don't mean the little box you can check at the faction select screen.
I keep out most of the in-depth customization because I enjoy making hordes of whatever I can recruit, and having as many big battles as possible via grand campaign. Even if it's only peasants ... in fact, mainly if it's only peasants!
In other news, if you bring back the army supply system, I might just have to love you. Hard. Forever.![]()

Wouldn't technically the reverse of these instructions do what we need?
