Either check the md5 numbers, the filesizes, or use the torrent to repair your download.
Looks like number 3 or 4 of the bin files is corrupted.
You could use
WinMd5Sum Portable
for example.
Well at least give him the instructions that are on the download site as well
http://portableapps.com/apps/utiliti...d5sum_portablewinMd5Sum Portable makes it easy to verify that the files you download are unaltered when on the go. Simply drag and drop a file to the window and it will calculate the Md5 sum in seconds. You can even copy and paste the published md5 sum into the compare box to quickly compare it. PortableApps.com publishes the md5 sums for all its apps, so you can easily ensure that you have the real deal.
As in, different from the numbers in the release post? Ouch.
If your using utorrent stop the torrent and do the following:edit: and I'm downloading the torrent now
Copy your SS6.3 files from the failed download into the folder you selected the torrent to save in.
Replace the files there with the failed downloads.
Then rightclick the torrent and chose "force recheck" or similar (should be an option near the bottom, 4th last).
If your lucky most of the files will check out 90% ok and you'll save much time. Worst case you are where you are now.
After the just hit start again. Good luck.
The secret is specialisation. If your down and your up sucks then you'll have to resort to tricks like using http mirrors and failed downloads to speed up a torrent.
Before today I didn't even know how to create one - I'm still waiting for the first screams of outrage because something turns out to be wrong with it![]()
Here I was thinking I downplay my expertise by hiding my confidence.
