Thank god for the watchtower's mod. I hate having to spend 5 turns sending one general around my borders getting all the towers up. It's just plain irritating.

One thing where I always had to resort to cheats because I lacked the patience for it.

Character_reset to place all watchtowers in the first turn. The punishment is a swift reduction in starting funds.

Oh. I never liked that cheat because it doesn't even work always, and if a guy gets suck 5 turns away from where he should be... bad things start happening. Maybe a script should be added to the watchtowers mod that reduces money the first turn for every watchtower, or just a general lumpsum taken away.

Pretty sure that the human starting funds are already reduced in comparison to the AI. Of course we can always go further but any new script will only counteract your goal of increasing the turn times.

i have many goals sir. If you have the number 5, and -1 for one thing, but add something you like more that brings it back to 5, your turn time would be the same but you would have a more positive outcome (in my idea) still. I plan on making a lot more mods anyway as my skill increases. Now wheres that Helm of Computerscripting when you need it...

That is a very weird thing... Hope the AI isn't as dumb as it was on 6.1 or 6.2 or something... Byzantium had a full stack hanging around Acre and it wouldn't move... plus two more full stacks on Rhodes stuck on the island forever... oh well.

Turning it too H/M could do the trick. I dont even see why I play on M/M. I should play H/VH, because that suits me much better, but I love turtling as well and not putting super tactics into my game.

Well you can always just role play and pretend the AI is using a general skilled in the arts of espionage to spy on your lands and report your military movements to his King. It kind of makes sense that way.
