    Default 6.3

    I was just wondering, will there be a RC/RR submod for the new SS 6.3? Even though the new 6.3 incorporates some aspects of RR and RC, it does not cover it all. Plus playing the vanilla SS 6.3 right now, I still feel that SS 6.1 with the addition of RC/RR is superior. Just a wonder.

    RC is implemented in 6.3 already, and RR can be put in by not checking the box. That shoooould implement most if not all features.

    Some differences would be the HUD (the bottom bar), portraits, and music I think (not sure on that part).

    so the new SS6.3 already contain RR/RC compilation, or will we have a separate version?

    it contains it! but for people who don't want all the RR/RC hinderences as they may call them, they still get all the other cool no doubt improving the game submods included with RR/RC compilation

    I'm kind of confused, how much of RR/RC is actually in 6.3? Like what features of RR/RC have been left out if there were any?

    Most of RR/RC is in 6.3 as far as I can tell. The things left out that I can think of off the top of my head are the MTW portraits, the new campaigns and the new UI files. Different music too I think. There's probably more too that I haven't noticed yet.

    So the real question is - is there going to be a RR/RC for 6.3 to add in the MTW portraits, campaigns, UI (I really like the RR/RC one), and music?

    my question too, since it one hell of 2.5GB download from megaupload, worst part is, I can't get resumable and reasonable speed from megaupload

    Use the torrent link, Napoleonic, i suggest. Worked great for me, and it's reasonable and resumable.

    Does 6.3 have exactly same units as RR/RC? What about unit balance compared to the RR/RC latest patch? And do you guys prefer 6.3 or RR/RC?

    now that I think about it, PB is not stupid to release the final beta so close with vanilla 6.3 release and from the looks of it, it seem that 6.2RR/RC already much resembles vanilla 6.3, so we can hope that PB version of 6.3 will be a minor upgrade from april/july/final beta RR/RC compared to stand alone vanilla 6.3

    Yes, that is the hope. I really enjoyed the Medievalized UI (user interface) of RR/RC, really spiced up the game .

    Yes, the Timurids are not present in 6.1 RR/RC, some factions have different names, but I think the roster is the same.

    New peasents are not in. Is an old octomber RR-RC. Is interesting, but dont start autoresolve anything.

    and the new skins of the Urban Spear Militia units from the RR/RC july hotfix are not in 6.3 : The horrible grey shields are back!I just think it ruins the late campaign since those units are often used in the "late" game.

    Only early and late era campaigns as far as I can tell.
