Hey Ardashir, it sounds like you transferred the owernship, but didn't give them proper skins in the battle_model_db. In DLV data folder, find the unit_models folder, then open battle_model_db and find the specific units: just find the Hedjaz listing for each unit. Basically, you have to copy that information under a new listing for Egypt; BUT you also have to make sure the single number just above the first entry is in agreement with the number of factions. So if it says, "3" just above Hedjaz, you'll need to change that to "4" when you add Egypt. Also, the number at the beginning of every line indicates the number of letters and characters in the line. Complicated, like I said.

yeah its a bit complicated , but i ve tried to do it , i ve copied the information of the arabguard to egypt units and i ve changed the number from 6 (hedjaz)
to 5 (egypt) , also i ve changed the name from hedjaz to egypt and the result was the game crashed down !!!
any more explaining is appreciated.
Did you change the number at the top of the modelsdb file?
My example is from Europa so it won't have any relevance to yours but if you have added a unit then the bolded number needs to be increased by one.

No, you need to ADD egypt, not replace Hedjaz...although that also might work. And there are TWO entries, one for the skin, one for the shield or whatever. I'm talking about the number in its own line, as in: "2 " with nothing after it. It refers to the number of factions who can use the unit. There is a separate number for the line describing the faction, which operates like all the other numbers; it describes the number of characters for the computer to read in that line. If its off by even 1, the game won't load.
AND, you also need to add Egypt to the ownership of the unit in the export_descr_unit file; at the end of the list for Arab Guard, it will list the factions who can use it, so you need to add Egypt there too.
