patch 1.3 problem

hi every one
pls help
i installed Rome today
and when i come to install the patch 1.3 it says
setup has experienced an error

pls do the following :
- close any running program
-empty your temporary files
-check your internet connection

i re installed the game and tried the patch and it keeps showing up
i cant patch it
pls help

What patch do you have ?
maybe the game is already patched up to 1.5 ?
(because you say that you've installed Rome today)

THE version that i have is 1.0

it worked before put i had to format my pc and lost all the files on it
i patched it before and this problem never showed up now here it is i downloaded the patch from several sites and nothing change
