Yeah no problem. You did a good job in any case.

you know you can spread some rep around eh? You owe me quite a lot of rep right now, I guess we'd better switch from the Panettone and Torrone to a dinner in some Michelin starred restaurant

as obvious as it is, it's a Saint, one of the most prominent ones in Catholicism

the flower on his chest is a big hint

Indeed it was. Searching for "saints with lilacs" quickly produced the answer. This is Saint Anthony of Padua seen in the standard iconographical image cradling the infant Jesus and holding a flower. He (Saint Anthony, not Jesus) is the patron saint of lost things and, among many other spiritual deeds, would preach to the fishes who flocked to hear his message of Christian redemption and salvation, demonstrating that they, mere creatures, were more receptive of the true teachings of the Catholic Church than his human but pagan contemporaries. At least so goes the hagiography.

Oof, that is a lily. Ah well, "a rose by any other name"… would actually still be a rose… only misnamed… so I'm not sure where I'm going with this. Anyway, who is this?

I don't think I'm really playing fair here as this may be too obscure a figure so I will provide this clue to start: She was in Vaudeville and lived a life both admirable and très intéressant.
