Its Babur's great great great great grandson Dara Shoukh ,a poet too i might add .Slain by his own brother .
You must read on Wikipedia how the cruel Aurangzeb after catching his own brother mutilated his head and humiliated his entire family .
I wonder how one can have so much hatred against his own brother!

I really love Indian history ,hence my modder's profile too says 'India research available ' -mad orc .
Indian and Mexican and Victorian era(the whole world) histories are my favourites ,they are soooooooo interesting .

Close, but not close enough... Mughals were indeed an indo-persian society.

The eldest son of Shah Jahan (famous for building the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort) who was supposed to succeed him, if not for his younger brother Aurangzeb. What's interesting about Dara Shukoh is that some historians think that the history of India would have taken another turn had he reigned, he was known to be very tolerant and merciful, unlike his brother.

On behalf of mad orc I post below the relevant hints:
"He is related to Mexico though he may or may not be Mexican. He is obscure. He is a big landowner. He is of a particular class of Hispanic people."

Here's a few hints to speed this up. He's European, not a politician or a military figure.
