hehe no. Sorry.
The guy we're searching for isn't so much a law enforcer and more the godfather type.
Hint?
As per usual, I emulated the previous two riddles. Which should give you an idea as to what kind of job the guy had and the geographical area. He was higher up in his food chain though. Top dog.
I understand 0,0% of what you just said.
After looking at pictures of various people "in the field" for the past three hours I came nothing closer, so I'll hand this one to someone else.
Yours was a Dutch politician with the top post of minister of transport.
KA's was a British politician who's never had a government post but is aspiring to get one.
Mine is similar, only "higher up his food chain"; "top dog"; "more the godfather type".
That hint isn't exactly subtle. One geographical area that isn't too broad. A time-frame that can be seen from the picture. And basically just one or, if we're generous, two jobs I could possibly be talking about which (*hint!*) not a whole lot of people get to do (/*hint!*).
I found the guy (Poul Schlüter) but I could not find a reference for the incident that would explain why the Prime Minister of peaceful Denmark would take the streets with a gun in his hand.
Was there anything rotten?
Correct. Poul Schlüter it is.
It was some malicious editing on my part. He was merely starting a race, but the pic looks so ridiculously badass.
Have your rep and your turn.
Wikipedia tells me Neelie Kroes was 4 times the minister of transport, and that there never was a Dutch prime minister by her name or even gender.
Did I not post JP Balkenende after her? Ah well doesn't matter
