So you're admitting you cheated on this one too, Hanny?

Also, I'd like to hear your explanation as to how he isn't a famous author seeing as he wrote Fight Club .

If you cheated, it's not your turn.

Harold Holt, a famous Chinese spy. On 17 December 1967 he went swimming at Cheviot Beach and was picked up by a Chinese midget submarine and taken back to China.

Correct. Didn't realise they were meant to be a "historical" figure, thought it was just a famous figure.

I think "famous figure" is perfectly fine.

Hey guys, let's focus on the game and not on cheating or whatever. The point is to try to guess what historical figure/event/battle each image depicts, using our knowledge and the picture's clues, without any additional help, in an environment of good sportsmanship and mutual respect.

Sirhan Sirhan, the assassinator of Robert F. Kennedy, superimposed upon the torso of Adolf Hilter, the assassinator of too many to name.

    Correct!
    Jeannette Rankin (1880-1973)
The first female member of the United States Congress, she was elected as Representative for the state of Montana (R) in 1916. A committed pacifist, hers were among the 50 votes against the declaration of war against Germany on April 6, 1917.
Defeated for re-election in 1918, her work for women's suffrage contributed to and culminated in the passage of the 19th amendment in 1919 affording women the right to vote.

She was re-elected as a Representative for Montana in 1940 during a time of increased international tension. On December 8, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor, she was the one and the only Congress person to vote against the declaration of war against Japan saying, "As a woman I can’t go to war, and I refuse to send anyone else." Despite pleas from fellow Congress persons to change her vote from "No" to an abstention, she refused and so the United Sates went to war one vote shy of unanimity.
(This was how I first became aware of her.)
She was unsurprisingly not re-elected in 1942 and never held public office again.

Along with her feminist work, her life-long pacifism compelled her to be active in the movement against the Vietnam War in the 1960s and she was contemplating another run for office to further this cause when she passed away at the age of 92.
