That is indeed a very stange debt... can you find out where all the money is going with the financial tab?
I am having some issues with SS6.3 and they're pretty serious. My Catalyst driver settings (AA and AF) were not being used in the new windowed/borderless mode. When I set it to the "old" vanilla screen mode, it does apply these settings.
However, now whenever I conquer a city and come back from the battle onto the campaign map, I get a CTD and no autosave... not sure if the two issues are related.
I also saw some strange purple/blue spots on the ground while playing a battle map. They appeared as the snow storm stopped, although it may just be the snow prevented me from seeing it before.
I played some turns as Venetians (EC). How is the education system working now? I had 2 young generals, but without traits like sophomore, junior etc.
Life is a joke, and one day you gonna laugh yourself to death about it.
Gaza is currently my only castle so I can't check with others, but:
It has the level Fortress, the description says that it provides 3 units with free upkeep, but none of the garrisoned units actually get the steel coloured backround that shows that they are free of upkeep.
And the looted camp notice shows up twice after battles and doesn't actually do anything (at least when playing without Byg's mod).
Ah, ok. Read through the descriptions and only feudals get free upkeep in castles. Thanks.
EDIT: @Gracul, could you change the description for the banner fix in your first post? I only learned how to correctly fix it by reading the thread. Sorry, I'm no modderDescription should be like this:
Change the name of EARLY descr_sm_factions.txt to descr_sm_factions.txt and put it into Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\data\campaign\early\data
Do likewise with LATE descr_sm_factions.txt only put it into Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\data\campaign\late\data
To affect your current setting you need to copy the descr_sm_factions.txt that corresponds to your campaign setting to Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\data

im not dure if this a a unit skin problem but i am playing as aragon and the lustinian javalin men in battle have portugese skins yet when i go on thier info box they have aragon colours?
further to homicidal merchants etc.
rebel merchants do have MP and knocking one off their resource doesn't automatically kill them.
(seen that as Scotland)
so I remain puzzled by the homicidal merchant syndrome.
Ehm... Dose anybody have any sollution to my debt-problem??![]()
Game just stops when I go on Custom Battle or sometimes click on a faction while choosing an early campaign.
so the event (being RR disabled) to be able to build this units never launches! is this planned to be corrected?
In SS 6.1, I had 300 turns and only spear units, no knights, no true cavalry, no balistas, or siege weapons or any class, being able to recruit, and the IA apparently had the same issue (forever 7 or 9 turns to be able to recruit) no matter you had the king or a war council member.... I disabled that because of that in 6.3.
yes. I solved this changing this file in your SS6.3/data folder, tell me if it works for you. It solved my catapult, and partially my trebuchet trails, but if you zoom you can see a little the squares in the case of the trebu. I suppose it will be fixed in the next patch, so by the moment, apply this temporarily![]()
I've got 6.3, I think. It doesn't happen often so it's not a major issue, just a little annoying at times, that's all.
Real Recruitment seems to be bugged, i can't build any knights and i can build gunpowders units before the gunpowder event
