Thanks for the help Gracul, but I decided just to reinstall kingdoms. I remember messing around with the original m2tw folder and downloading alternative exe files when I downloaded the rr/rc compilation.
I changed the names of the exe files around and I think I lost the original
But nothing will stop me from my historically accurate medieval turn based strategy gaming!!!!!!!!
A HUGE fan of the Stainless Steel mod for m2 kingdoms. Thank you to all the modders!

Byzantine navies are reffered too as Roman navies, but family members are byzantine family members. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but thought I'd point it out

english levy archers seems to be reconsidered infantry... Ctrl+M doesn't choose them, but Ctrl+I does...

EDIT: seems to be more units which has the wrong unit type... Irish Kerns are also considered infantry... and I THINK I saw another unit with the wrong type... not sure which though...

Lithuanian Generals Shield and Weapon texture is still wacky. 3/4 of the Shield is Silver Surfer and Sword has what looks like shield texture on half of it.

Bug: SS_setup.exe and launcher.exe fail to start. Error message: "Create process failed; code 14001."
    See: Problems installing 6.3
Solution: Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package

Ok, not really a bug... maybe it should be added in the faq or as a prerequisite.

It MUST be added in FAQ or installation instructions!

Thank you so much, Bane! As the other guy (in other thread I think) wrote already, I too checked md5 and all was right with download, so I instantly became crazy for the moment after that "Failed install, so pls reinstall blah blah" message. Thank you. It works!

BUG #2: Start-of-game agents all have supply traits (i.e. 100% Army Supplies - though they don't increase/decrease each turn). Recruited agents seem unaffected, but agents granted at game start (checked spy, diplomat, merchant, cardinal) have the traits.

ISSUE #1: Bohemond di Taranto was the Prince of Antioch during 1100 A.D. after the First Crusade, I can't find any sources to suggest he was associated with Edessa, yet he is now the governer of Edessa in The Crusader States' early era campaign in 6.3, whereas in 6.2 + RR/RC he was correctly the governer of Antioch.

    Ah yes, you're quite right.

I have, however, noticed a coded typo in the castles building browser

I already told gracul about that; Jocelyn and Bohemond somehow had their coordinates swapped when incorporating AFR into 6.3. The AFR v1.05 patch fixes that and the incorrect 'Baudouini' names.

What's AFR and how do I get it working properly in 6.3?

And Caesar, I see now - Thanks! =]

Some issues were found with the implementation of AFR in SS 6.3. The below patch fixes a few errors detailed in the patch description. These changes are for the early era campaign, but the name files will affect the late era as well. Not save-game compatible; default Savage AI. If switching from non BGR to BGR, may require deletion of SS6.3 folder and reinstalling the SS6.3 mod before applying this patch.
I don't understand the bold part? I play BGR IV but as far as I know the only game file alterations I've made is the banner fix, why would I need to reinstall to then install AFR?

    1} Fix:- http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...29#post7814929

2} I imagine the default levels of those traits were given to agents in the desc_strat file in the campaign/custom folders instead of just to generals. You can't remove them without removing the entries and starting a new campaign (though they don't actually matter anyway I don't think), but as you have indicated, new arrivals wont get those traits.

    I got one small bug;

I disabled RR, yet it still has RR material in the mod.

What kind of material? Disabling RR (I believe) only disables the recruitment restrictions on units.

I'm downloading the released version now and will take a look at the banner files. Looking at CC's fix it seems to be a text file that is messed up not the banner file. Either way I will take a look.

    My army is gone.

Played as England and attacked the welsh with everything but the kitchen sink on turn 2 that had 4 generals. Turn 3 I won the battle and select all but one unit to leave in garrison. The entire army, minus the generals, gone. Reloaded the autosave and same thing happens.

    Installed 6.3 over 6.2

Not supposed to install over a previous installation. Its a standalone bud.
