Hi all. I downloaded the files and installed them with no problems at all. But while in the campain map I expirence much lag and sometimes the game freeze or crash
I tried to low graphic settings, install the bug fixes, but nothing changed... what can be the cause of this and how can i fix it ?
Thanks in advance
edit: i just happen to read "What to do when the bugfixes don't work- A study amongst myself has concluded that in 84,55% of cases the problem lies in UAC and/or a installation in C:\Program Files. Its recommended to install games, especially ones you want use mods for, into a folder like C:\Games."
Move the M2TW files (and all the mods files) to a new folder is enought or should i reinstall everything ?
You can move or install SS6.3 in a different folder on C:\ and that would be enough. SS6.3 works with M2TW installed in program files\sega\m2tw\... and SS6.3 installed in say C:\Games\SS6.3.
Note that this really only helps with the bugfixes and won't help with your lag problem.
By the way how do I advertise mods if I want the community to get to enjoy them, for example I would like to be able to have the stainless steel ver. 6.3 below my comments for people to get the link. Is this possible?

I've got an CRC error when I try to extract the files downloaded from filefront. Perhaps you cold check this out. Thanks.
Gracul and team, this mod is outstanding so far! After downloading all the files I started a Sicily campaign and played until 3AM.
I only stopped playing after my wife sat up in bed and gave me the "look of death".
The music in the game is beautiful, the AI is seems smarter and I haven't had any problems or bugs so far. I'll keep you all posted.
Again, superb job!
I have been told that no faction is imbalanced in this modification. What I would warn you is do not bother playing the Crusader States. I know there will be people coming on here saying they can win it in 20 turns on Very Hard, but the reality is that as a faction they are very, very weak. In addition, they face far more opposition than they did in real life, which was tough enough. The Kwarzemians and the Moors never launched jihads against Jerusalem, and yet you quickly find their jihads queuing up alongside the Egyptian and Turkish ones. They would have died of lack of water outside the city of Jerusalem rather than being able to wait their turn over a number of years to attack. If history had played out as the Crusader States faction does on Easy/Easy, then we would never had heard of the Templars because the Crusader States would have been destroyed within 30 years. In this modification the States can scrape together pitiful numbers of very weak troops. There are no replenishments from Europe and minimal mercenaries, I managed to find two groups of turcopoles to hire in 30 years. Even marrying into European factions and getting your new sons-in-law to bring mercenaries is of minimal benefit. You are lucky to be able to recruit any spearmen let alone anything comparable in skill to what the constant jihads send against you, despite having very large cities and lots of money. The States are far weaker than they were in reality and their opponents far more numerous and stronger. There is no way you will be leaving the Holy Land as late as 1291. I have been playing MIITW for years, and apart from facing the invincible Mongol forces, have never played scenarios as imbalanced as this one. It needs real work to have any point playing. I have tried again and again as the Crusader States, but am no so annoyed at this mod, I am leaving for a different one.

Aarrrghh ... I can't play ...

The crash on Turn51 is a bug fixed in the fixpack - pretty much got fixed on day one actually.
The fixpack is available from the first post of this topic and it seems you forgot to install it.
If you have bugs, report them in the bug report forum. Thats what its there for.
Oh and the fix is savegame compatible. So after you installed the fix and followed the rest of
the instructions you will be able to play, as in continue your campaign.
Edit:
That was me. Quickedit with spoilers screwed up the "recommended" imageshack "forum code". My apologies - Fixed. Personally I very much prefer the simple "direct link" to insert pictures.

Thank You, very, very muchand sorry for wrong forum posting. You've done a greate job!
I'd just like to thank everybody in SS 6.3!!
While playing I got the pleasent surprise to see an active rebel faction (at last!!!!). Merchants, actively recruiting, attacking factions....
I've been waiting for this for a long time and I think it greatly improves the game.
Thank you all!!
anyone else have problems Dling the third part of the Alternative Installer - by Sean Cappone??
Is there an alternative to the third installation or do i have to reDl everything?

Leave it to the modder to perfect the works of the paid developers for no profit at all.
