Just a quick question but first of all thanks so much for an awesome mod!!! It's really the only one I like to play. In my version Kiev Rus had a German accent for some reason. Is that a bug I can fix myself in the descr_xxx.txt ?

Hi all, im trying to install the ss mod 6.3 so I can eventually upgrade to the newest version but I have run into some problems. First, to be clear this is the first time ive ever tried to use a mod so Im rather ignorant to this process. My problem is that I have downloaded all the parts to 6.3 in the same folder but when I run the installer it asks me to insert the disk 1 from the retail version of the game. Im running the game through steam so I do not have any disks. If anyone can help me through the installation process id really really appreciate it!

Ive seen those instructions and I believe they only help me after I have installed the game. When I attempt to open the ss6.3 file it asks for the game install disk.

Congratulations Gracul! I have been anticipating this arrival in weeks. Unfortunately I'm going to have to abandon my English Early Era campaign. (Which the Fatimids won anyway) I'm sure this update is worth it though.

As I download this however I have but one question. Is there's anything else I have to delete besides the SS folder in the mods directory?

they are to check the integrity of your download. if you dont understand them then dont worry about them

also seems to be some issues with Steam version (what else is new??!). SS 6.3 fires up the old school launcher. the old fix for 6.1 and 6.2 doesnt work as 6.3 needs a kingdoms.exe it says. i will try and figure it out.
