Stainless Steel 6.3 Released

Alright, "Dumb as a stump" question....

Do I need to delete SS6.2 and MTWII and then reinstall MTWII before downloading?????

Mostly because Ireland doesn't do anything in most campaigns. Also medieval Ireland was not a world power and there are other nations that were that make for better factions in-game.

Just delete the Stainless Steel folder in the mods directory

they are to check the integrity of your download. if you dont understand them then dont worry about them

also seems to be some issues with Steam version (what else is new??!). SS 6.3 fires up the old school launcher. the old fix for 6.1 and 6.2 doesnt work as 6.3 needs a kingdoms.exe it says. i will try and figure it out.

But I feel your pain as well. Im actually considering becomming a megaupload member since I have to wait 20 mins now to download part 5, hoping it doesnt have another error and i have to wait another 20 minutes.

P.S. The only thing that makes me a little sad is that Kiev and Novgorod have rosters like in RR, not like in BFTB. Too many militia units, while some of them could be replaced with professional/feudal ones like gridni, chornie klobuki, etc. But nevertheless great mod!

RR and 6.3 use the rosters from the first BftB. Only BftB2 has Gridni and Chornye Klobuki. I'll be adapting BftB2 for 6.3 soon.

Downloaded. installed, played about 35 turns (with several battles) of an early scotland campaign.

so far nice and stable, excellent version. the options to go without RR or Byg + choice in CAI are tops, thanks to all those involved.Worth the wait.

I'm downloading.It may took haft of day because i'm a freemember and MU downloading speed is completely unstable here

But this mod is awesome.Can't wait to have it

PS:This mod is "stand alone" right?Then I will just have to remove 6.0,6.1,6.2 and install 6.3

I apologize if this has been mention before but are there any plans for Magyar Mod or BC's units down the road? Its alot to ask for so I don't want to upset anyone. I know PB is overloaded atm, I'm curious if ther might be a plan to add these units to 6.3?

Can you tell me the surname of the Sicilian royal family in the early era? I need to know if gracul used that latest version of AFR. Thanks in advance.
